What is the difference between the CarMax limited warranty and the optional MaxCare® extended service plan?
Every car we sell comes with a CarMax limited warranty covering your car's major systems and hundreds of parts, inside and out, including labor. The standard limited warranty is 30 days (60 days/3,000 miles in CT, MN, RI; 90 days/4,000 miles in MA, NJ, NY, whichever comes first). See store for details.
MaxCare is an optional extended service plan you can buy when you purchase your car. It can be tailored to your monthly budget and extends coverage of your car's major systems and hundreds of parts for up to five years, subject to your plan's term and mileage limits.
